About Us
Established in spring 2021, we are a community youth choir program in Prince William County for middle and high school students under the direction of Kelli Pierson.
We have fun as we build friendships with singers from many schools, sing a wide variety of music and bring joy to the community. We are ideal for singers who want more singing in their life!
We are proud of our alumni singing at NOVA, NYU, JMU, UNT, Bridgewater, Longwood & Westchester.
The Chamber Choir, Vox Harmonia is an honor choir level ensemble for singers 6th-12th grade. This group will only be made available upon enrollment. Auditions are held in the fall.
We offer our Youth Choir for singers in middle and high school that will be open to any interested singer. Rehearsals will include a path to music literacy. Please contact us if you are interested in joining this choir and we will be in touch!

Meet the Director
Kelli Pierson began directing Excelsior Voices in the Summer of 2024. She is the former choral director of Marshall High School in Fairfax County, where she led 5 choirs, an a cappella group, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and music directed the spring musicals. During her time at Marshall, her choirs consistently received Excellent and Superior ratings at the Virginia State Choral Assessment and for five consecutive years has been named a Blue Ribbon School (with top groups receiving straight superior ratings in Choir, Band and Orchestra). In 2020, Statesmen Singers were selected to perform at the Virginia Music Education Association Conference.
Since having her daughter in 2022, Kelli has enjoyed her new role primarily as stay at home mom, but continues to support many local choral and theater programs throughout the Northern Virginia area as a conductor, vocal coach, music director, adjudicator and clinician. She also serves as the Assistant Choral Director at Colgan High School, Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. Kelli received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Music Education from James Madison University. She currently performs with and serves as the Past Chairperson for Caritas Nova, a group made up of choral directors and professional musicians in the Northern Virginia area. Kelli is thrilled to be working with the students of Excelsior Voices and cannot wait to share this beautiful music with you. |
